| 使徒行傳-Acts 第 28 章 |
| 28:1 | 我們既已安全得救，才認出那島名叫米利大。 And having been brought safely through, we recognized then that the island was called Malta. |
| 28:2 | 土人待我們有非常的情分，因為當時下著雨，天氣又冷，就生火接待我們眾人。 And the natives showed us uncommon kindness, for they kindled a fire and took us all in because of the rain coming on and because of the cold. |
| 28:3 | 那時，保羅拾起一捆柴放在火上，有一條毒蛇因熱出來，纏住他的手。 But when Paul had collected a bundle of sticks and put them on the fire, a viper came out because of the heat and fastened onto his hand. |
| 28:4 | 土人看見那毒蛇懸在他手上，就彼此說，這人必是個兇手，雖然從海裡安全得救，公理還不容他活著。 And when the natives saw the snake hanging from his hand, they said to one another, Undoubtedly this man is a murderer, whom, though he has been brought safely out of the sea, Justice has not allowed to live. |
| 28:5 | 保羅竟把那毒蛇甩在火裡，並沒有受傷。 However he shook off the snake into the fire and suffered no harm; |
| 28:6 | 土人等著看他腫起來，或是忽然仆倒死了，但等了多時，見他無事，就轉念說，他是個神。 And they expected that he would swell up or suddenly fall down dead. But when they had waited for a long time and beheld nothing unusual happening to him, they changed their minds and said that he was a god. |
| 28:7 | 那地附近有些田產是島長的，這人名叫部百流，他接納我們，親切的款待了三天。 Now in the vicinity of that place were the lands of the leading man of the island, named Publius, who welcomed us and gave us hospitality three days in a friendly way. |
| 28:8 | 當時，部百流的父親患熱病和痢疾躺著，保羅進到他那裡，禱告並按手在他身上，醫好了他。 And the father of Publius was lying down sick with fever and dysentery. Paul went in to him, and having prayed and laid his hands on him, healed him. |
| 28:9 | 這樣一來，島上其餘的病人也來得了醫治。 And when this happened, the rest also in the island who had sicknesses came to him and were healed. |
| 28:10 | 他們又多方的尊敬我們，到了開船的時候，還給我們放上所需用的。 They also honored us with many honors; and as we put out to sea, they put on board the things for our needs. |
| 28:11 | 過了三個月，我們上了一隻亞力山大的船，這船以丟斯雙子為記，是在那島上過了冬的。 And after it had been three months, we put out to sea in an Alexandrian ship which had wintered in the island, with the twin sons of Zeus for its figurehead. |
| 28:12 | 到了敘拉古，我們停泊三日。 And having landed at Syracuse, we remained three days. |
| 28:13 | 又從那裡繞行，來到利基翁。過了一天，起了南風，第二天就來到部丟利， From there we sailed around and arrived at Rhegium. And after one day a south wind came on, and the second day we came to Puteoli, |
| 28:14 | 在那裡遇見弟兄們，懇求我們與他們同住了七天；這樣，我們來到了羅馬。 Where, having found brothers, we were urged to remain with them seven days. And thus we came to Rome. |
| 28:15 | 那裡的弟兄們，一聽見我們的事，便來到亞比烏市和三館迎接我們，保羅見了他們，就感謝神，壯起膽來。 And from there the brothers, having heard about the things concerning us, came as far as the Market of Appius and Three Inns to meet us; and when Paul saw them, he thanked God and took courage. |
| 28:16 | 當我們進了羅馬，保羅蒙准和一個看守他的兵丁另住一處。 And when we entered into Rome, Paul was permitted to remain by himself with the soldier who was guarding him. |
| 28:17 | 過了三天，保羅召集猶太人的首領來。等他們到齊了，就對他們說，諸位，弟兄們，我雖沒有作什麼事干犯本國的百姓，或祖宗的規例，卻成了囚犯，從耶路撒冷解到羅馬人的手裡。 And after three days he called together those who were the leading men of the Jews; and when they came together, he said to them, Men, brothers, though I have done nothing against the people or the customs of our fathers, I have been delivered as a prisoner from Jerusalem into the hands of the Romans, |
| 28:18 | 他們審問了我，就願意釋放我，因為在我身上並沒有該定死罪的。 Who, having examined me, intended to release me, because there was not one cause of death in me. |
| 28:19 | 無奈猶太人不服，我才被迫上訴於該撒，並非有什麼事要控告我本國的百姓。 But when the Jews spoke against this, I was compelled to appeal to Caesar, not that I have anything to accuse my nation of. |
| 28:20 | 為這緣故，我懇求你們來見面談論；我原是為了以色列所盼望的，才戴上這鎖鏈。 For this cause therefore, I have entreated you to see me and speak with me; for on account of the hope of Israel I have this chain around me. |
| 28:21 | 他們對他說，我們並沒有接到從猶太來論你的信，弟兄中也沒有人來報告，或說到你有什麼不好。 And they said to him, We have neither received letters from Judea concerning you, nor have any of the brothers come and reported or spoken anything evil concerning you. |
| 28:22 | 但我們認為應該聽聽你怎樣想，因為我們曉得，這個教派是到處遭反對的。 But we think it is fitting to hear from you what you think, for concerning this sect it is indeed known to us that it is spoken against everywhere. |
| 28:23 | 他們和保羅約定了日子，就有更多的人到他的住所來，保羅從早到晚對他們講解，鄭重見證神的國，引摩西的律法和眾申言者的書，以耶穌的事勸服他們。 And once they had appointed a day for him, many came to him at his lodging, to whom he expounded these matters, solemnly testifying of the kingdom of God and persuading them concerning Jesus from both the Law of Moses and the Prophets, from morning until evening. |
| 28:24 | 他所說的，有的信服，有的不信。 And some were persuaded by the things which were said, but others did not believe. |
| 28:25 | 他們彼此不合，就散了。散去以前，保羅說了一句話：聖靈藉申言者以賽亞，向你們祖宗所說的話，是不錯的，祂說， And when they disagreed with one another, they departed, Paul saying one word to them, Well has the Holy Spirit spoken through Isaiah the prophet to your fathers, |
| 28:26 | 「你去對這百姓說，你們聽是要聽見，卻絕不領悟；看是要看見，卻絕看不透； Saying, "Go to this people and say, In hearing you shall hear and by no means understand, and seeing you will see and by no means perceive; |
| 28:27 | 因為這百姓心蒙脂油，耳聽不靈，眼睛閉著；恐怕他們眼睛看見，耳朵聽見，心裡領悟，回轉過來，我就醫治他們。」 For the heart of this people has become fat, and with their ears they have heard heavily, and their eyes they have closed, lest they perceive with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart, and they turn around, and I will heal them.'' |
| 28:28 | 所以你們當知道，神這救恩如今已傳給外邦人，他們也必聽。 Let it be known to you therefore that this salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles; they will also hear it. |
| 28:29 | 保羅說了這話，猶太人中大起爭論，就都走了。 And when he had spoken these things, the Jews departed, having much dispute among themselves. |
| 28:30 | 保羅在自己所租的房子裡，住了足足兩年，歡迎一切前來見他的人， And he remained two whole years in his own rented dwelling and welcomed all those who came to him, |
| 28:31 | 全然放膽宣揚神的國，並教導主耶穌基督的事，毫無阻礙。 Proclaiming the kingdom of God and teaching the things concerning the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness, unhindered. |
