西番雅書-Zephaniah 第 1 章

1:1	當猶大王亞們的兒子約西亞在位的日子，耶和華的話臨到希西家的玄孫，亞瑪利雅的曾孫，基大利的孫子，古示的兒子西番雅。 The word of Jehovah that came to Zephaniah the son of Cushi, the son of Gedaliah, the son of Amariah, the son of Hezekiah, in the days of Josiah the son of Amon, the king of Judah.
1:2	耶和華說，我必從地面上全然除滅萬類。 Iwill utterly remove everything From off the face of the earth, Declares Jehovah.
1:3	我必除滅人和走獸，除滅空中的鳥、海裡的魚、以及絆腳石和惡人；我必將人從地面上剪除，這是耶和華說的。 I will remove man and beast; I will remove the birds of heaven and the fish of the sea, And the stumbling blocks with the wicked; And I will cut off man From the face of the earth, Declares Jehovah.
1:4	我必伸手攻擊猶大和耶路撒冷的一切居民；也必從這地方剪除所餘剩的巴力，並偶像祭司的名和祭司， And I will stretch out My hand against Judah And against all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, And I will cut off the remnant of Baal from this place, And the name of the idol priests with the priests,
1:5	與那些在房頂上敬拜天上萬象的，並那些敬拜耶和華，指著祂起誓，又指著瑪勒堪起誓的， And those who worship upon the housetops The host of heaven, And the worshippers who swear to Jehovah And swear by Malcam,
1:6	與那些轉去不跟從耶和華的，和不尋求耶和華，也不求問祂的。 And those who have been turned back from going after Jehovah And have not sought Jehovah And have not inquired of Him.
1:7	你要在主耶和華面前靜默無聲，因為耶和華的日子近了；耶和華已經預備祭物，將祂所召的分別為聖。 Be silent before the Lord Jehovah, For the day of Jehovah is near; For Jehovah has prepared a sacrifice; He has consecrated those whom He has called.
1:8	在耶和華獻祭的日子，我必懲罰首領和王子，並一切穿外邦衣服的。 And in the day of the sacrifice of Jehovah I will punish the princes And the sons of the king And all who wear The clothing of foreigners.
1:9	到那日，我必懲罰一切跳過門檻，將強暴和詭詐充滿他們主人房屋的。 And in that day I will punish All who leap over the threshold, Who fill their master's house With violence and deceit.
1:10	耶和華說，當那日從魚門必發出哀聲，從第二城區發出哀號，從山間發出大破裂的響聲。 And in that day, declares Jehovah, There will be the sound of an outcry from the Fish Gate And wailing from the second district And a great crashing from the hills.
1:11	瑪革提施的居民哪，你們要哀號，因為迦南的民都滅亡了；凡滿載銀子的，都被剪除。 Wail, O inhabitants of Maktesh, For all the people of Canaan are destroyed, All who are laden with silver are cut off.
1:12	那時，我必用燈巡查耶路撒冷，我必懲罰那些如酒在渣滓上澄清的，他們心裡說，耶和華必不降福，也不降禍。 And at that time I will search through Jerusalem with lamps, And I will punish the men Who have settled on their lees, Who say in their heart, Jehovah will not do good, Nor will He do evil.
1:13	他們的財寶必成為掠物，他們的房屋必變為荒場。他們建造房屋，卻不得住在其內；栽種葡萄園，卻不得喝所出的酒。 And their wealth will become plunder, And their houses, a desolation. Indeed they will build houses but not inhabit them, And they will plant vineyards but not drink the wine from them.
1:14	耶和華的大日臨近，臨近而且來得甚快。這是耶和華日子的聲音！勇士在那裡痛痛的哭號。 The great day of Jehovah is near; It is near and hastens greatly. The sound of the day of Jehovah! The mighty man bitterly cries there.
1:15	那日是盛怒的日子，是急難困苦的日子，是荒廢淒涼的日子，是黑暗幽冥的日子，是密雲烏黑的日子， That day is a day of overflowing wrath, A day of trouble and distress, A day of waste and ruin, A day of darkness and gloom, A day of clouds and deep darkness,
1:16	是吹角吶喊的日子，要攻擊堅固城，和高聳的角樓。 A day of trumpet and alarm Against the fortified cities And against the high battlements.
1:17	我必使災難臨到那些人，使他們行走如同瞎子，因為他們得罪了我耶和華；他們的血必倒出如灰塵，他們的肉必拋棄如糞土。 And I will bring distress upon the men, So that they walk about like the blind, For they have sinned against Jehovah; And their blood will be poured out like dust, And their bowels like dung.
1:18	當耶和華盛怒的日子，他們的金銀不能救他們；全地必被祂嫉憤的火燒滅，因為祂要將這地的一切居民，急速毀滅淨盡。 Neither their silver nor their gold Will be able to deliver them In the day of the overflowing wrath of Jehovah; But the whole land will be devoured by the fire of His jealousy, For He will make an end, nothing other than sudden destruction, Of all the inhabitants of the land.
